Chemguard Launches S-300 Polymer for Solid Surface & Fabric Protection
Mansfield, Texas, March 3, 2008 –
The Chemguard Specialty Chemicals Division has launched the first product in a new line of fluorosurfactant-based specialty chemicals, S-300 partially fluorinated acrylic polymer. Developed for the protection of solid surfaces and fabric, S-300 provides exceptional water, oil, and soil repellency.
“As a solvent-based product, S-300 has wide application in protecting concrete, tile, stone, grout, and wood, as well as fabrics,” explains Specialty Chemicals Division Senior Manager Bob Gilbert. “Also, the ability of S-300 to foam hydrocarbons and petroleum condensate make it applicable as an additive in well-stimulation solutions.”
