CHEMGUARD FS-818-6 is a short chain perfluoro based highly efficient, nonionic fluorosurfactant at 35% actives. This fluorosurfactant is soluble in tap and sea water. It has been used in combination with other fluorosurfactants (i.e. CHEMGUARD FS-157, CHEMGUARD S-103A, and CHEMGUARD FS-221) to formulate premium AFFF agents meeting the US Military specification (Mil-F- 24385F). It provides excellent performance in FFFP formulations in the presence of CHEMGUARD FS-221. CHEMGUARD FS-818-6 is highly compatible with anionic, cationic, amphoteric and nonionic surfactants and provides high quality foam.
